If the Hong Kong heat is unbearable this coming June, you have to eat the desserts at Cong Sao. This tiny eatery can spawn long long long queues that will really test your patience. However, come at the right time and you’ll find yourselves sharing a table with the locals. It’s best to come here in the middle of the afternoon, rather than taking a chance during the night. It opens until midnight and while that’s a long opening hour, the queues can get wild.

The mango desserts and the durian pancakes are the bestsellers at Cong Sao, but whichever you prefer will surely be right for your tastebuds.
It’s pretty pricey considering it’s just dessert, but it’s worth every penny anyway. Add this to your Hong Kong food trip and eat in this dessert place before it disappears like the other well-known stores around Causeway Bay.
