Cuvee Coffee: Austin’s Latest Brewchata Trend

If you’ve never been to Austin, you wouldn’t be familiar with its hipster culture. Big cities like NYC and SF overshadow Texas, but Austin has been increasingly becoming popular among young professionals who want to experience living a better life outside of Silicon Valley. First came the art. Then the coffee shops. And with them, came the deluge of coffee shops that define Austin that is today. That’s gentrification and rapid urbanization.

Cuvee Coffee is one such location, where working class can spend morning meetings, coffee runs with great Nitro Brew. My friend, who is a local in Austin, took us to visit this coffee joint. Cuvee Coffee is well known for their Spicewood 71 and Nitro Brew, but for me, I wanted something to quench the hottest morning in Austin. It was a 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Scorching hot.

It’s the latest trend to hit Austin, with its refreshing take on cold brew, spiced with cinnamon rice milk. Hence, the portmanteau between Brew and Horchata, made possible with a 70/30 ratio of Cold Brew to Horchata.
