We all know Korean restaurants are expensive. And all the more if buffet is to be discussed. Don Day Fresh Korean Restaurant offers the cheapest Korean buffet there is with unlimited delicious Samgyeopsal (three-layered pork belly) to fill your empty stomach.
Unlimited Buffet at P257 per person, inclusive of VAT
They have quite a selection when it comes to their Korean buffet, complete with Banchan, some Beef Bulgogi, Kimchi soup and even Chap Jae noodles.
I like topping their Chap Jae with Korean Bulgogi and some fried tofu.
I like their fresh, cool raddish pickles. They neutralize your palette and doesn’t bore your tongue with oily foods.
Banchan: Kimchi, Picked Raddish and Chili Peanut Sauce
But the real star of the buffet is the Samgyeopsal. These are served by plate and you will be cooking this on your table’s grill. Peanut chili sauce and lettuce is available in the buffet selection for you to dip your Samgyeopsal. You can also choose to add kimchi in your DIY Samgyeopsal.
I got a bit tired of wrapping the Samgyeopsal with lettuce so I just grilled it and stuffed it in my mouth once it’s cooked. It’s easier.
They also serve some Korean ice cream. I would really recommend you to eat ice cream afterwards to clean your palette
