I’m a bit biased when it comes to Mexican food. To me, Mission burritos in San Francisco are one of the best, and The Little Chihuahua in the sweet neighborhood of Mission District evidently shows that.
But I have to give NYC a chance. There’s a rich Mexican culture here that’s hard to ignore in such a diverse city, and Park Slope’s favorite, Fatty Daddy Taco’s gives a good run for your money.
I got the Spicy Chicken Quesadillas ($8.50), which made Oaxaca Taqueria’s quesadillas minute. Sour cream and guacamole are available to add at $1, which I feel should be given away to customers for free. There’s some competition with Oaxaca Taqueria here.
Fatty Daddy Taco’s is good for a quick bite, but perhaps the food truck around the corner would satisfy your Mexican cravings.
