Google Plus: LOLA Cafe Bar
For neighborhood predominant with residential homes, LOLA Cafe and Bar is situated strategically for homebodys. The interiors itself look extremely residential and have been converted in such a comfort venue that usually gets crowded at night.
My friends and I stopped by LoLa Cafe for a dessert and coffee session right after our lunch at Nomama Artisanal Ramen.
I love their global inspired theme. I am a fan of paintings with well-known structures as the subject. The restaurant is a loft-type, so it has a quite roomy and modern appeal.
They serve a wide range of dishes that include pasta, sandwiches, and even Filipino entrees. We ordered two desserts, the Pistachio Pavlova and the Belgian Chocolate cupcake.
Pistachio Pavlovas by LOLA Cafe Bar
Pistachio Pavlovas were delicious and chewy. They taste like meringues, that have a crisp pistachio dacquoise, creamy nutty pistachio pastry creme and topped with ripe mango.
Belgian Chocolate Cupcake
Their Belgian Chocolate Cupcake is equally sweet and sinful. It has a dark chocolate flavor that’s rich and heartwarming for many. But I like the meringue-like dessert better since it’s unique.
They serve many kinds of coffee to suit the strength of your palate, from Barako, Americana, to Caramel and Hazelnut for sweet tooths like me.
I would most likely return to this restaurant and try out their different entrees and brunch choices.
