Papi’s Tacos
Went with couple of friends for margaritas at this so-called “the best Mexican/tacos restaurant in SG”. Frozen margaritas were good; they weren’t strong and not too sweet. But the tacos were soggy. Reminded me of a movie that sags in the middle act before breaking when it’s ending does not deliver its promise. By the time I took a bite of their Suadero Tacos, the middle had broke in the middle and out came the beef brisket. Carnitas were passable, but I wouldn’t call it the “best tacos” I ever had. Maybe it was the best in Singapore… but then this island… Onto the next dish. *laughs*
Pollo Quesadillas were very good and if you could nibble the nachos towards a second decanter of margaritas, then that serves its purpose.
Beautiful place for a night out, for sure.
