Don’t bother reading my review. Just don’t eat here. Not only they are sneaky, adding HKD 12 per tea but the service is just terrible. The staff was just rude and we weren’t the only ones complaining about the service. Plenty of customers also started fighting with their staff with incorrect orders (or additional HKD 12 for the tea) and rudeness.

I don’t like their food. Period. The dumplings were soggy, the pork chop too tough to chew and just overall a bad experience to eat while people are fighting.

I

couldn’t stomach half of the food I was eating and hearing that our food was going to be out in 20 minutes without them considering that we have flights to catch and saying it’s a rush hour is just unacceptable. (Every hour in the airport is a rush hour!)

Moral lesson? Read Yelp first before you eat anywhere.

On the other hand, I am just disappointed with HKIA closing half of the food court for renovation (at the time of writing). With this airport having a large capacity, it’s not practical to close half of the food court with limited choices and moving the other restaurants in between gate sectors. Bad management decision especially if we, passengers, are left with poor restaurant choices like Taiwan Beef Noodle.

Maybe the staff who are Chinese locals aren’t too happy serving in restaurant named after their nemesis, Taiwan. That’s just unacceptable.
