It’s Hongkong’s latest bubble tea craze and surely bubble tea has no signs of slowing down. Taiwan has its own Tiger Sugar which is basically just milk and that brown sugar boba that we like so much. In my opinion, The Alley is better than Tiger Sugar.
Here at this tea place, the line can go as long as an hour wait, but in my experience, I waited for 30 minutes to get my drink.
I got the Brown Sugar Deerioca (HKD 28) and also the Northern Lights Aurora Series (HKD 42). Both drinks were really good and I’d say worth it. The bubbles are sweet and the syrup at the bottom has a creamy taste. On the other hand, the Northern Lights is refreshing with its Apple Cider vinegar infused drink. You wait for 5 minutes before shaking it and drinking it.
Overall I’d recommend trying this place out for a change in your daily bubble tea cravings.
