The Japan Weather Association has recently released their annual Sakura forecast for the year 2016. Generally, here are the predicted schedules of Japan’s cherry blossoms this 2016:
Tokyo – Starting March 25, 2016
Kansai region (Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe, Nara) – Starting March 28, 2016 – March 31, 2016
Northern regions of Kanto, Tohoku – Starting April 5, 2016 – April 15, 2016
Aomori region – Starting April 20, 2016 – April 25, 2016
Hokkaido – Starting May 5, 2016 – May 15, 2016
