I’m not much into Korean food. Anyone who’s been following my blog knows for a fact that I like Japanese cuisine better than Korean food. But throw in double deep fry chicken, K-Town style and I’m down.

Turntable Chicken Jazz’s spinoff in Midtown is loud, thumping and modern, much of which can be credited to its hidden gem facade. Move too fast along 5th Avenue and you’ll most likely miss out this hole-in-a-wall Korean DJ spot located in the second floor. That’s the charm of Turntable Chicken Jazz.

Nothing like Kyochon. Turntable’s Half and Half chicken drumstick and wings can be spicy and original, great for a group with a mixture of preferences. And you guessed it, I really liked the spicy side.

The beers? The presentation is fun and entertaining for beer on tap.

If you check-in on Yelp for the first time, you’ll get a free Lychee Sochu shot. Kampai!
