After Korio, Hello Arigato, and Park Bench Deli, I’m on a mission to find the best sandos in town. (No, those cheese toasties at Oaks Coffee Company aren’t counted!) And my search has led me to Herencia, where 46 Mittsu’s humble stall stands between a dessert place and a tiny watering hole. Shame it doesn’t open till night, because their sandwiches are the perfect hangover food.

Beef Brisket Sando – $14

Take for example, this lovely beef brisket sando. I was really impressed with the flavors of the ratatouille and the smokey american cheese melting together. The beef brisket is also tender, although a little fatty, but I can forgive them for that. It’s good to indulge every now and then haha! But it was an incredibly good value sandwich at $14, and it puts them in the running with Korio. I love the brioche toast as usual. They serve to elevate the sandwich, not bring them down.

Other crowd favorites in their menu include the B.E.C. and the Pork Sando. I can’t wait to try those out soon!

Overall, I would recommend going to 46 Mittsu for your sandwich run. This is one sando place you should put in your bucket list.
