Possibly another favorite coffee shop of mine (after a really excellent brunch at Kafe Utu and dessert at Nesuto) is Baristart Coffee. After a spate of really mediocre food, I am finally getting on a streak of restaurants that are bound to be in my all-time favorites list.
Baristart is one of those places, not just because it hails from Hokkaido, but its zen, comfort food dishes is so rich in Hokkaido BIEI Jersey Milk. And I mean it. It lives in all of its dishes.
From its Hokkaido Carbonara — generous in bacon…
to its popular Super Lava Cream Puff (and honestly, you need to get this. It is the best cream puff in Singapore.)
to the flat white that’s one of the best ones I’ve had in a while…
