Cafe Gavroche, Tras Street, Singapore

Tras Street has some of the best hidden gems. From Baristart to Nesuto, Tras Street always seems to have something to perk your interest. One of the my new discoveries is Cafe Gavroche, a sweet French bistro that transports you to Paris.

Love the interiors. I thought it was well-thought of and captured the Parisienne bistros.

I chose to dine here during breakfast, because I’m such a big brunch person. And also, a cafe with eggs, cappuccino and croissants will draw me in.

The cappuccino is one of the best. Takes me back to olden times when cappuccine monks concocted this drink. The foam is perfect, and Cafe Gavroche uses quality Florio arabica beans.

The scrambled eggs are creamy and the chicken and pork sausages were good too.

Croissant was actually not the best I’ve had. Again Petit Pain in Joo Chiat wins my vote.

Overall, I recommend Cafe Gavroche to anyone looking for a change in their brunch routines. They also sell tartines, and as I hear, fondues for dinner. Definitely another restaurant repeat for me and one that I’d likely never strike out in my bucket list.
