Did you know Cinnabon has always been in Singapore? I mean, not as an official store. But you can actually buy boxes of Cinnabon’s Minibons and Classic Cinnabons at Pasabuy, a Filipino store in Lucky Plaza. For many years you can preorder a box of 9 minibons for $35, and these are air-flown from Manila. At nearly twice the price at the Cinnabon Raffles City store, I’m sure everyone who knows this hack heaves a huge sigh of relief.
Of course, nothing beats freshly baked cinnamon rolls. I’m just making a point that the insiders know where to get the baked goods before Cinnabon officially opened its store in Singapore. So actually, you can still purchased Cinnabons at PASAbuy if you don’t want to line up.
But then you may ask, How long are the lines at Cinnabon Singapore? To be honest, the lines have died down since its official opening. Not as crazy as a 3 hour line ala Mister Donuts popup in Jurong. On a Sunday afternoon 2:00pm, I managed to snag minibons for less than 30 minutes — just ala carte because I don’t want to go on a rollercoaster sugar ride the entire week — and because it was such low effort to buy one that you don’t need to go all crazy and hoard them.
And it doesn’t disappoint, especially as Cinnabon bakes the goods onsite.

I also liked that the staff and the queues were extremely efficient. They pre-pack the minibons of 4 and you can’t choose the flavors, but it’s okay. It’s all meant to make the lines more efficient. Plus, who cares if you eat the Original, Chocobon or Caramel Pecan? They all taste damn good that it’s actually fine to eat whatever flavor.
But of course, my favorite has been the Chocobun.
That gooey center is just so warm and soft and filled with the signature Cinnabon Makara Cinnamon flavors we are so familiar with.
