Bubble tea is showing no signs of slowing down, especially with the recent opening of The Alley a couple of months ago. But to those who simply want natural, fruit desserts, Hong Kong has no shortage. Cong Sao has its own specialties in tofu infused desserts that are less sweeter in taste and are great for the adventurous. But to those who like summer fruits and want to quench that summer heat, Hui Lau Shan has been around for a while to offer your iced mango desserts.
I got the Iced Mango and Pomelo dessert (or drink if you want to slurp it down) and it’s packed with sweet mangoes. I’ve never mixed Pomelo and Mango before so this was a refreshing change, plus with its sago bubbles, this dessert is surely something to add to your bucket list when it HK. At HKD 43, it’s definitely pricey, but within the range like your bubble tea.
