I know a man’s good steak is hard to get by. There are some steaks that are so hard to chew and yet it made a dent in your wallet. And for all steak addicts out there, I highly recommend the porterhouse at Snackaroo.
A reader’s warning though: If you’re someone who doesn’t like their armpits to go sweaty, or walk away from a restaurant smelling like char, then don’t eat here. If you’re bringing your own car, and you don’t want a missing side mirror or bumper, don’t eat here or just ride a cab. Don’t expect quality customer service either. Be prepared to wait for an hour before the waiters notice you standing there waiting for an available table.
The place is quite hard to find in the nooks and crannies of the city, but I promise, if you’re someone who doesn’t give a damn about the environment, Snackaroo is a rare gem for steak lovers out there.
There’s only one dish I want you to try. Get a porterhouse steak. (If it isn’t available, get the T-bone steak.) Everyone in the restaurant has this on their table.
Snackaroo Porterhouse Steak
This steak costs only P140. But you still have to order a cup of rice if you want carbs. It comes with a cup of gravy that you can drizzle your steak with.
Snackaroo T-Bone Steak
The T-bone steak is equally good, though it tastes a bit like leather afterwards. KIDDING, of course. This is what happens when you mass produce it.
Overall, if you really need a quick steak fix, slash on the quick, you can get yours at Snackaroo where it’s just a fraction of the cost.
