It was full of promise to eat an Unagidon for less than $10. For an unagidon set, less than $25. At a time of inflation, it’s a welcome option. Except all of this just falls short of my expecations.

I’d rather buy those frozen unagi kabayaki compared to this sorry state of unagidon at Unatoto. It costs $21.98, $14.50 for a double signature unagidon, and a top up of $4 for a mysterious Unagi Liver soup and a side salad.

I can’t tell you how much I want to throw up after eating this meal. It was the worst unagidon I have ever eaten in my entire life. Rubbery, bits of it you have to wonder if it’s even cooked. Meanwhile that mysterious unagi liver soup had a strange taste. It wasn’t salty, sweet, sour or bitter. The feeling that you know, you’re not supposed to eat it. I don’t know, maybe, I was conjuring cannibalistic images in my mind.

Half an hour later, my stomach felt like it was having a meltdown. It had a feeling that I didn’t eat something fresh. Like I ate something I wasn’t supposed to eat.

Don’t eat here. Don’t waste your $20. Unaterrible.
