Kam’s Roast Hong Kong
Here lies Hong Kong’s Michelin Star Roast goose for four years in a row – 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018. The lines here go on and on and on every single day. The best time to line up is a couple of hours before the restaurant opens or the roast goose runs out of stock.
But everyone says it’s worth it and a must try!
1 Whole Roast Goose (HKD 540)
I think the roast goose was pretty good but not that awesome. The skin wasn’t crispy but flavorful.
BBQ Pork Fatty Charsiu (HKD 185)
THIS. I love the layers of fat that keep the pork succulent. The burnt ends are so sweet and some of it is fat. This is just one of the best char siu I’ve tried.
If you aren’t a fan of eating fat, Kam’s also have lean Char Siu.
Crispy Pork (HKD 115)
Their Crispy Pork was okay. I like dipping it in mustard sauce.
Overall, Kam’s Roast Goose is a must try for fans of roasted meat. If you happen to be in HK, at least have some for to-go if you don’t plan on lining up for hours.
P.S. The Chinese donut is a photobomber and not a part of Kam’s. ?
