Layover at Narita Airport? There’s always AVION. This is where I got my quickest ramen fix.

Whenever I’m with a group of friends, I’m usually the last one to finish my meal. It’s simply because I try to savor every bite, especially if I’m eating my favorite food.

Picture this: A restaurant overlooking the Narita International Airport runway. I couldn’t ask for a better view.

I only had 30 minutes left to spare. However, I’m still grateful for this decent bowl of Pork Miso Ramen (820 Yen) from Avion. It is right across Asakusa gift shop.

It’s not the best ramen I’ve tried in Japan, but it’s good in transit.

If you are waiting for your next Narita Express train or Limousine Bus out of Narita, there’s always La Theiere. In my opinion, they serve one of the best Spaghetti Bolognese and Katsu Sando (Tonkatsu Sandwiches) that are less than 1000 yen. Service is unbelievable. You can get a taste of Japan’s hospitality before you leave the Airport.
