Don’t expect your hunt for 001 to be easy because that’s the very essence of 001. This speakeasy lounge located in a dubious dark alley filled with garbage bins far outshines the other watering holes in the area. There are no flashy signs versus other bars in SoHo.

If you’re looking for a place to meet new people, forget it. 001 is not the place for you as they’ll kick you out if you try to strike up a conversation and mingle with strangers.

The drink is frothy, with a subtle hint of alcohol, whose intentions aren’t deadly. Earlgrey Marteani makes one feel relaxed as one adjusts to the dark interiors.
