I’ve been brewing this story for more than 5 years. Finally, I get to write about it!
Whenever I visit a city, for some reason, I always end up eating at Shake Shack. You can take it from me. Wherever you are in the world, Shake Shack tastes the same from its potato buns to its juicy burger patty.
The only difference is price and some locations are cheaper than other cities.
So it makes sense to dedicate this post solely for Shake Shack.
Cambridge, Massachusetts
Location: Harvard Square, 92 Winthrop Street, Cambridge, MA 02138
My first taste of Shake Shack burger. This is way back in 2014 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, specifically Harvard Square. Yep, right outside Harvard University campus. If you notice, the fries are still the potato string fries before they changed it to crinkle cut fries
New York City
Manhattan Location: Southeast corner of Madison Square Park (near Madison Avenue & E.23rd Street)
Brooklyn Location: 409 Fulton Street (between Willoughby Street & Adams Street), Brooklyn, NY
There’s no Shake Shack post without its Madison Square Park roots. #love
If you don’t want lines, their DoBro location has shorter lines, but same patty.
Seattle
Location: 2115 Westlake Avenue, Seattle, Washington 98121
The smallest patty ever at Seattle’s South Lake Union store, a stone’s throw away from Amazon HQ. Really the worst branch ever with long queues and lost orders.
I’d say just go to Dick’s in Queen Anne. You’d get really cheap burgers at delicious taste. And oh, their FRIES.
Singapore
Location: 78 Airport Boulevard, Jewel Changi Airport #02-256, Singapore 819666
The most expensive Shackburger I’ve had ever is in Jewel Changi at SGD 9.20 plus tax, which is roughly around USD 7.22. The price is premium and ridiculous. It’s a fast food burger, for Christ’s sake. But then again, fancy restaurants in Singapore are downright ridiculously priced but tastes well below great food standards.
Manila
Location: Lower Ground Floor, Central Square Bonifacio High Street, 5th Ave, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines
The cheapest Shackburger I’ve had at Php 250. That’s only USD 4.80!
By the way, get their Uube-by-Baby concrete. That’s Vanilla custard with ube cookie, toasted coconut, pinipig and topped with leche flan. It’s a Manila-exclusive. It’s like the traditonal Halo Halo dessert, except this concrete is just way creamier and sweeter. Yum.
Tokyo
Aoyama Location: 2-1-15 Kita Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo 107-0061 Japan
Shinjuku Location: Odakyu Southern Tower 2F, Shinjuku Southern Terrace 2-2-1 Yoyogi, Shibuya-ku Tokyo 151-8583 Japan
I’ve been to two Shake Shack locations in Tokyo – one in Aoyama Itchome and the other in the newly opened Southern Shinjuku Terrace. By the way, Luke’s Lobster truck is in the area too. Just sayin’.
Las Vegas
So far the meatiest Shake Shack I ever ate and one of the best!
Seattle, beside Amazon HQ
The worst ever Shake Shack I ever ate. The Shack Burger was too damn small. But they were selling the Dragonglass shake at that time (2019)
More to come. 😉
