Bacha Coffee hails from Morocco. So if you’ve been yearning to escape Singapore and bask in an exotic ambience, Bacha Coffee is the next stop in your coffee list. I’ve tried their first branch in ION orchard, and boy, was I so full drinking a pot of coffee. I found the coffee a little watery, but the Chantilly cream was really delicious when you put it in your coffee.

So I was delighted when Bacha Coffee opened a takeaway counter in Marina Bay Sands. People seem to come and go all the time there, and what’s great about it is that you pay only $7.50 for a cup. Bacha Coffee can be rather expensive for dine in, and I bet if they do find a space in Marina Bay Sands some time in the future, Angelina has some serious competition for brunch.

Anyways, Bacha Coffee’s takaway coffee is probably the most luxurious coffee takeaway in Singapore. It comes with the chantilly cream and a rock sugar stirrer. I posted a video on TikTok on how to prepare it; you’re not supposed to eat the rock sugar!

They also have takeaway croissants at Marina Bay Sands, but it gets sold out very quickly!

Bacha Coffee Naranjo Mountain Blend (Hot) – $7.50

I got the Naranjo Mountain Blend, which is what the staff recommended for me. I can’t drink coffee that is too acidic now, and I wanted something medium blend and a nuttier blend, so this was perfect. The chantilly cream and the sugar definitely elevated the nutty notes of the coffee. Also, the longer you keep the rock sugar in the cup, the sweeter your coffee is going to be. Just a warning! Something light works fine for Bacha Coffee’s blend, for sure.

P.S. If you don’t like coffee, TWG Tea now does takeaway in fancy gold cups!
