I have been waiting a looong time for Paris Baguette to open its new store in Raffles City. Not because of its Teatra collaboration, but because the space they chose was a prime area. It used to be where Starbucks was, and when they were still constructing the new store, I was already imagining how the interiors would look like. I like the vibe eating at Paris Baguette, especially at its ION Orchard store. I like getting my croissants there, and a light lunch comprising of my usual Smoke Salmon Cream Cheese croissant and mushroom soup.

So all the more I was so excited for them to serve a unique all-day brunch menu only at Raffles City.

And it didn’t disappoint.

Love the Korean Castella French Toast. So spongey, sweet and every morsel was just heavenly for me. It’s like breakfast on steroids. I thought adding syrup was a little too sweet.

It comes with fluffy scrambled eggs and beef sausage and a side salad. You can also swap it for a regular french toast if you don’t like a cakey one. But it was pretty good, and not getting charged service charge (and a prompt attentive customer service) was a plus one for me.

Of course, this particular Paris Baguette’s selling point is Teatra. They’re offering 15% off tea product and 20% off dine-in drinks. Sadly, I’m not a tea person. Their coffee is pretty ok.

They also sell cakes exclusively sold at Raffles City, one of which is the Earl Grey Double Choco Cake. I’d love to try a slice soon.

Overall, I’d say it’s not my favorite store, because I felt that they missed out on the opportunity of a natural light. I believe it’s because of the protruding roof from the entrance; that kind of bounced the light off… And the pillar at the center where they housed the pastries… which was the structure’s foundation. It could have rivaled P.S. Cafe situated on Level 3.
