Wolfgang Express Menu

When in Vienna, of course, you have to eat in a restaurant named Wolfgang.

Just kidding.

If you, like me, have strong doubts about Jamie Oliver’s string of restaurants in Vienna International Airport, I recommend eating at Wolfgang Puck Kitchen & Bar, located at the arrivals hall. This won’t be the first time I’ve eaten at Wolfgang Puck. The Express restaurant at Harajuku in Takeshita-Dori in Tokyo is one of my favorites.

And it still remain as my favorite, given this unbelievable consistency from Tokyo to Vienna. Spaghetti Pomodoro is as al dente as I last tasted it back in 2016.

WP Burger — made even better with Austrian beef. Meat is juicy, just the right amount of saltiness, and the brioche buns are key to a strong burger.

Salmon is perfectly grilled and tender, meat falls off with its natural oils.

Of course, you can’t leave Vienna without one last Schnitzel for the road. Excellent breading, you can’t go wrong with the Wiener Schnitzel.

The roast chicken, meanwhile, was a little dry on some parts, but otherwise passable. Loved the gravy that came with it.

We were in the mood for some cheesecake, not sacher torte, so Wolfgang Puck’s cheesecake delivers a sweet cap to a really filling meal.

I highly recommend eating at Wolfgang Puck at VIE if you’re hungry. The atmosphere is very pleasing, customer service is one of the best. Some tips — you can check in your luggage first and head out to the arrivals area for some meal before going to immigration and boarding gates.
